Deepika Padukone learns scuba diving and plans to go skydiving next
Deepika Padukone is shooting for her next film Break Ke Baad in Mauritius with Imran Khan. She has taken the chance to indulge in some adventure sports. During her breaks and in her spare time, she has managed to learn scuba diving and is set to also learn sky diving.
Deepika confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is something that I always wanted to do. I have always been athletic and have been inclined towards different kinds of sports. But in India one never gets the opportunity to do this kind of a thing. So the moment I arrived, I met some professionals and I am becoming a certified diver. I just have two classes left.”
The water baby talks about her experience. She said, “I must say that I am the happiest underwater. I am extremely fond of swimming and I think I can swim pretty well. But I was nervous the first time I went underwater as it was really deep and in the middle of the ocean. But I started enjoying it the moment I got the hang of it. It is such a beautiful feeling and it makes you realise that there is much more to life than the way we lead it.”
When asked about learning sky diving, she said, “Yes, as I will be in Mauritius for a month, I will definitely learn that too. However, my producer has said that I should finish shooting first.”
