Award-winning cinematographer Kiran Deohans, who worked on both the films, says, “First I got to shoot a beauty from Mangalore — Aishwarya Rai Bachchan —in Jodhaa, and now I get to shoot a beauty from Bangalore —Deepika Padukone — in KHJJS. Both actresses have so much in common and yet they are so different. Both are South Indian beauties, yet one is fair, the other is slightly dusky. Both are tall, yet one has coloured eyes and other is a dark-eyed beauty.” The award-winning cinematographer is also fascinated by the fact that both make a striking couple with Abhishek Bachchan. But asked to choose his favourite between Ash and Deepika, Kiran says, “That I can’t do. My lens is not partial to either.” Spoken by a true diplomat haan!
