Virtual identity highjack. That’s what Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is fearing nowadays.
Someone has opened an account by her name on Twitter and has been posting rather controversial remarks on Deepika’s behalf. The actress clearly isn’t amused by this.
The fakester is reported to be blogging under the name of ‘PadukoneD’ and has posted comments which claim that she wants to get back with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, and will celebrate the Valentine’s day with Shahid Kapoor.
“I need to get back with Ranbir, again,” the fakester posted a few days back. Two days later, one post read: “I commit, Shahid will be my Valentine this year.”
An angry fan retaliated to the comments and wrote on the fake account, “Can u plz stop pretending u r Deepika!!! Get a life dude! The real deepika is @deepikatweeting (sic).”
The same post was re-tweeted by the actress as well. But all this to no avail as the fakester is hell bent to prove that he/she is the real Deepika Padukone and has slammed the real account.
“Hello, this is Deepika Padukone’s Agent, I’m the one writing for Deepika Padukone and she is the one telling me what to say here,” the fakester wrote. “And as always someone is trying to be her and stealing all her followers @deepikatweeting is a fake, she has not made the Twitter,” the fakester replied.
