Eyebrows got raised slightly when Deepika was spotted gelling well with the alcohol baron Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth. However, he was rotund and pot-bellied and the duo looked a mismatch. But, prompted by some divine kind of self-motivation, the young lad has now shed loads of pounds and is sporting a leaner look; something that has, certainly, been noticed by Padukone’s shrewdly observant eyes.
Though, Deepika is shrugging her shoulders when quizzed about the reasons why he has lost so much weight, she is being nonchalant yet refusing to accept or deny her love story 2010. Trying to squeeze a dismissive chuckle, she says matter-of-factly, "We all know how true such rumours are. I’m very uncomfortable about talking it. Let the press write and say what it has to. I’m not saying anything."
There was a phase when she had no qualms in openly speaking up about her love life. However, post-Ranbir, Deepika seems to be a cautious gal who is obviously not counting her chickens before they hatch. And by the looks of it, she and Siddharth are, certainly, an item.
