Deepika is very well connected

Just a few days ago, we spotted Deepika Padukone playing the good daughter by her father Prakash Padukone's side at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and cheering for badminton player Saina Nehwal.

But now she's back in Mumbai, promoting her upcoming film "Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se" opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

The sultry Bangalorean beauty is constantly on the move and what keeps her connected "is my BlackBerry", she admits. "I love what I do and apart from acting, I like to stay connected wherever I am. The BlackBerry Torch offers rich Multimedia; the power of full touch and qwerty keypad. It's an all-in-one phone," claimed Deepika, who launched the smartphone with Frenny Bawa, managing director – India, RIM, in Mumbai.

Happy about the similarities between herself and her 'coolest' innovative phone, Deepika says, "We're both sleek, stylish and trendy."

Mini Biography Deepika Padukone, born 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is an Indian model & Actress. She is the daughter of former badminton Champion Prakash Padukone. Her mother tongue is Konkani.

She has been modeling appearances in print and television advertising campaigns for Liril, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca, receiving many prestigious modeling offers, including brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India, an annual jewelery exhibition. She hit the international scene when Maybelline made her their new international cover-girl face.
At the fifth annual Kingfisher Fashion Awards, for Indian models and designers, she was awarded the title of Model of the Year.
