The buzz is that the third installment of ‘Dhoom’ franchise is slated to be bigger and hotter, and so, the three top stars are even more beguiled to be a part of the movie.
Junior Bachchan and Uday Chopra are going to be the other main characters, like in all the previous movies and the hunt for the female lead is on.
“With Aamir Khan coming on board to play the villain in the film, all the leading ladies are even more enticed to be a part of Dhoom 3. The ladies in contention are Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Although, none of the three actresses have ever worked with Aamir, they are Aditya Chopra’s favorites,” informed a close source.
Who has the maximum chances of getting the role?
While the three ladies are trying their best to bag the dream role, analysts are looking at who among the three, had the maximum chances of playing the female lead in ‘Dhoom 3’.
Priyanka Chopra has worked with Uday Chopra in ‘Pyaar Impossible’ and even Deepika Padukone has worked with Yash Raj Films. And Katrina Kaif, who has not worked with the YRF before, seems to be the on top of the list for Aditya Chopra.
“Katrina seems to be winning the race followed by Priyanka and then Deepika. The leading lady of Dhoom 3 needs to don a bikini and be at her sexiest best. Adi is taking keen interest to cast the right girl, along with the writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya," said a source.
But the dream of all these actresses may be shattered if Yash Raj Films decides to introduce a new girl in the movie, a trend that has become quite common for the banner.
Hunt for female lead is yet to begin?
Though speculations are on about the leading lady of ‘Dhoom 3’, a YRF spokesperson said that the hunt for the female lead has not begun yet.
“This is mere conjecture. We haven’t begun casting beyond those announced Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. You will need to wait for our announcement,” he said.
Well, we hope to soon hear about the female lead of ‘Dhoom 3’ and till then Deepika, Katrina and Priyanka will also have to wait.
