In our daily routine we have forgotten how to find pleasure in small things. The idiot box is a major hindrance in these simple pleasures,” said actor Deepika Padukone. “I really appreciate HT’s initiative and would urge people to step out of their daily routine, may be go for a walk, read a book, plant a fewtrees or even meet friends and family.”
For filmmaker Kiran Rao, looking for locations for Dhobi Ghat, her upcoming movie, made her explore the city. “I have lived in Mumbai for 15 years and I never really saw it till I started looking for locations for Dhobi Ghat.
