Deepika Padukone is the daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone. She played state-level badminton before switching to modeling. She appeared in campaigns for Liril, Close-Up, Limca, and later became the international face of Maybelline. Her modeling breakthrough came with the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar (2006).

Bollywood Debut:
