After making a blasting debut in "Om Shanti Om" with the King of Bollywood "Shahrukh Khan", dusky beauty "Deepika Padukone" eagerly waiting to work with another Bollywood superstar "Salman Khan".

In an interview, the actress expressed her desire to work with Shahrukh's biggest rival "Salman Khan".

The actress is currently flying high with the success of "Love Aaj Kal", said, "I've just stepped in the industry and I've really been very lucky to have got the opportunity to work in some biggest projects of the dream world and that too with some awesome actors. I have worked with SRK, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan and now I would like to work with Salman."
Deepika also praised Salman, "He is what he is. He is clear with his thoughts about what he feels and what I have read and known about him, he seems to be very caring."

Deepika's desires have risen up when the buzz is that Katrina Kaif is trying to chip in between Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor. Well, the actress seems to be good player.

Father Rishi Kapoor is proud of son Ranbir Kapoor who is though two films old but is very passionate about his work. He still has a long way to go but Rishi feels that Ranbir is happy doing what he does ie ‘acting'.

It runs in the family according to Rishi. The love for films was there in Rishi's father Raj Kapoor, Rishi himself and now son Ranbir too. When quizzed about passionate Ranbir's girlfriend father Rishi nonchalant reply, “Absolutely normal, I think she's one of Ranbir's girlfriends, so what?”

Rishi Kapoor is not a big fan on this generation love ideas. He feels the novelty of romance is all lost and changed which existed during his time. According to him his film ‘Love Aaj Kal' was an eye opener to his friends living abroad whose kids are residing in US and have a different outlook.

He feels there is more to a relationship instead of just the physical aspect of it. One should nurture it and value it.

Salman is a very honest person: Deepika Padukone

Starlet Deepika Padukone is seemingly the new add-on to the Salman Khan fan club. Yes, that is a correct news. The Bollywood damsel has acknowledged the way he is. Though Salman Khan has always been into headlines more for his bad than good but she finds him a better person.

Deepika has shown desperation to work with Salman, in spite of sharing not so great vibes with Salman's girlfriend Katrina, she looks forward to share the frame with the actor.

She has already worked with great players of the industry like SRK, Akshay and Saif and she is making waves and expanding her fan list “I`m so new in the industry and I have been very lucky to have got the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the industry. She said, "I feel Salman is a very honest person. He is genuine about what he feels and what I have read and known about him, he seems to be very caring."

Deepika Padukone rides high on upcoming comedy flicks

After making her debut in Shah Rukh Khan's "Om Shanti Om", Deepika Padukone gave a shot to romantic comedies like "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and action flick "Chandni Chowk To China".

The lanky Bollywood beauty has shifted her gear towards comic role. Deepika will be seen in "Karthik Calling Karthik" and "Housefull" doing humorous role.

It was revealed that the actress has already enfolded up the shoot plan of "Karthik Calling Karthik" and is busy shooting for Sajid Khan's "Housefull".

"Housefull" is an out-and-out comedy that features the gorgeous "Lara Dutta" and the real dude of Bollywood "Akshay Kumar".

"I was lost. But Sajid does one very good thing, he acts out every scene. I found it easy to follow what he wants. I'm learning fast. I've realized that comedy is the hardest thing to do. And all these actors are so good at it. Akshay has worked with the best comedy directors of the dream world. I'm in the process of learning comic timing watching him," Deepika revealed when questioned whether the actress was edgy before trying comedy.

Deepika ignores Kareena...

Relations between Kareena Kapoor’s and Ranbir Kapoor’s families have always been polite but distant. And both young superstars from the Kapoor family have been candid enough to admit that they hardly meet, let alone fraternise.

Deepika Padukone, who just did a film with Kareena’s boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, happens to be Kareena’s estranged cousin Ranbir’s girlfriend. And Ranbir’s father, the wonderfully-talented Rishi Kapoor, was Deepika’s co-star in Love Aaj Kal. Sounds complicated na?

Luckily no one from either side carried the family baggage on the sets. But when last week Deepika came face to face with both Rishi Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor at an event in Delhi, she made her intentions quite clear by staying away from Kareena and spending all her time with Rishi Kapoor.

Belying all rumours of tension with Ranbir’s parents, Deepika Padukone bonded beautifully with Rishi Kapoor in Delhi when she flew to the capital for a day last week from London to attend an event.

“We were all in Delhi together, all of us...Saif, Kareena, Imtiaz, Giselle Monteiro, Rishiji and me. And we had so much fun. I don’t know where these stories of friction come from,” sighs Deeepika.

Deepika is candid enough to admit she doesn’t get along like a house on fire with Ranbir’s parents. “We don’t meet that often. But when we do, the vibes are just fine. It’s sad I didn’t have too many scenes with Rishiji during the shooting of Love Aaj Kal.”

In fact, Deepika spent more time with her boyfriend’s father in Delhi on Thursday than she has ever done. “And we have absolutely no problems getting along. It makes exciting copy to say we don’t get along. But that’s not the truth,” retorts Deepika.
