I have no issues with Ranbir: Deepika Padukone

Ranbir Kapoor - Deepika Padukone's on-off relationship continues to make news. The duo looked great in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, but weren't paired thereafter. Reportedly, with their personal equations undergoing a change, the actors have decided against working together. "Completely untrue," Deepika sets the record straight, "I would love to work with Ranbir. And Ranbir is a professional too. These are mere rumours and shouldn't be entertained."

So why haven't the duo signed any film together? "Ranbir and I have decided that till such time we aren't offered a script that inspires us, we won't work together. I am keen to work with him. So is he. We looked great in BACHNA AE HASEENO," she tells me.

While Deepika started her career with 'seniors' like SRK [OM SHANTI OM], Akshay Kumar [CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA] and Saif Ali Khan [LOVE AAJ KAL], she's now cast alongside Gen X actors - Abhishek Bachchan [KHELE HUM JEE JAAN SE], Farhan Akhtar [KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK], Neil Nitin Mukesh [Yash Raj's untitled film] and Imran Khan [BREAK KE BAAD].

Two Deepika Padukone. One fake, one real!

Virtual identity highjack. That’s what Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is fearing nowadays.

Someone has opened an account by her name on Twitter and has been posting rather controversial remarks on Deepika’s behalf. The actress clearly isn’t amused by this.

The fakester is reported to be blogging under the name of ‘PadukoneD’ and has posted comments which claim that she wants to get back with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, and will celebrate the Valentine’s day with Shahid Kapoor.

“I need to get back with Ranbir, again,” the fakester posted a few days back. Two days later, one post read: “I commit, Shahid will be my Valentine this year.”

An angry fan retaliated to the comments and wrote on the fake account, “Can u plz stop pretending u r Deepika!!! Get a life dude! The real deepika is @deepikatweeting (sic).”

The same post was re-tweeted by the actress as well. But all this to no avail as the fakester is hell bent to prove that he/she is the real Deepika Padukone and has slammed the real account.

“Hello, this is Deepika Padukone’s Agent, I’m the one writing for Deepika Padukone and she is the one telling me what to say here,” the fakester wrote. “And as always someone is trying to be her and stealing all her followers @deepikatweeting is a fake, she has not made the Twitter,” the fakester replied.

Is Love in the Air for Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor?

The buzz is on! Are Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor dating? Well if there's any truth to the latest Bollywood rumors, the "Love Aaj Kal" actress and the "Chance Pe Dance" star are more than just friends!

Deepika Padukone’s Valentine Shahid Kapoor?

The much awaited suspense about who will be Deepika Padukone’s next man is finally over when she committed to dashing Shahid Kapoor to become his Valentine this year.

Initially, it was just friendship and they often use to see each other but currently things have turned into a more serious note as they have become inseparable and are completely in love.

This love relationship has grown up in relevant to the recent break ups and in order to cope up with pangs of pain. According to the sources, both are directing to take this love affair into a slow and steady pace.

The cozy couple has been seen dating at the pub-house and partying together. If they are not spending time outside, they take pleasure to pass their leisure hours in each other’s home. Sources add, “Shahid’s car was parked outside Deepika’s Bandra residence a few days ago.”

They have moved on from their failed relationships to rebuild a healthy relationship, source stated, “Shahid and Deepika - both are quite headstrong and have moved on from their failed relationships. They are only concentrating on their career at the moment. They want to have a strong foothold in the industry and think alike, which is the main reason why they have clicked together.”

Professionally they are heading towards a new project together, the source stated, “One of Shahid’s close friend is trying to work on the project. Deepika and Shahid are vaguely aware of the project and are definitely keen on working together since both of them are in-demand.”

It was after a recent award function, they started seeing each other and now effectively it has taken turn into a love relationship who have almost forgotten about their past relationship, sources revealed, “Deepika and Shahid have met each other several times in the past but they really started bonding after a recent award function. Both the actors also have common professional interests. Also, let’s not forget that they are single.”

Hope this valentine appears more promising this time for Deepika.

Deepika Padukone wants to romance Ranbir again

The once hot Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor may have parted ways but they have not bolt the doors tight. Unlike many couples, who can’t see each other on the face after split, Deepika and Ranbir are open to romance each other again – of course only in reel life.

Deepika has no bad feelings on her ex beau Ranbir. She said that she would love to work with him in the future. She added that working with him in Bachna Ae Haseeno was not enough.

Even as she maintained that career matters the most to her at the moment, she is all praise for her ex boyfriend. She said that Ranbir is a very talented actor and has a long way to go. She added that he would be around for a long time and wish he doesn’t loose focus in following his dreams.

Deepika Padukone sacrifices her long locks

Dusky beauty Deepika Padukone, who is playing the central character of a uber cool chick in the film Karthik Calling Karthik, had to sacrifice her long tresses to get the modern look for the film. Deepika is seen sporting short hair and is yet looking gorgeous in this eagerly awaited film. But to convince Deepika to cut her hair wasn’t an easy job for debutante director Vijay Lalwani.

Vijay Lalwani, who had a real tough time convincing Deepika to cut short her hair says, “As Deepika’s character is very bold, modern and very outgoing, I thought that her long locks would not go with the character. And initially I was a bit hesitant to approach Deepika for this, as for any girl chopping down her long locks would be difficult, as it takes years to grow back to that length again. But at last, I managed to convince her somehow.”

Well! Deepika Padukone is looking stunning in her new avatar, her new look will really compliment her performance that is soon to come on 26th February 2010.
